During these two
weeks we have had another organization project: make our ideal school and
exhibit it to the rest of the class.
This project was very
interesting because we have to know deeper the organization of a school, not
only how we design the classes (in a physical way), but also how to design the
whole school, I mean: the corridors, the halls, the inside and outside installations,
the shape of the building... It has been a very hard work, because it was a lot
and we have no so much time.
Moreover, we have to
add to this project the readings that Yolanda gave us. These texts talked about
the “inclusive school”. I think all of us know that every child has to be accepting
in the school, it does not matter the problems (derangement, physical
disabilities...) that he or she has. The inclusive school manage these topics
and teaches us to learn from the difference and learn of it.
Teachers and students
have to have a very close relationship because they can help each other.
Teachers have to pattern forms of teach, they should have a continuous
recycling, and in that way, children will not be bored in class.
With all this ideas,
we made a video, and results have been incredible. I could not think that the
videos were so imaginative. Each group have designed a different ideal school,
which means that everyone has a different idea and different necessities and it
is very difficult to provide a school that likes to each of us, but we try to
create a school that, at least, like to the majority.
Create this school is
not so easy, and make a video that sums up the whole information, neither.
There were a lot of ideas and put them together and shaped it was a hard work.
It has cost spend many time on the class and on the canteen, but the effort was
worth it.
